Cambridge

A great southern-metal band, they are badass! I have seen them 2 times and they are a great band to see live, all the guys are really cool! If you havent seen them in concert yet you need to get out to a show as soon as you can. I am pretty sure they are under divisional media. If you go see them you haft to meet them!

SHOTGUN FOR THE SCENE

A local band that I manage, always a good time when you go see them. They are one of the most original bands I have ever hear. Breaking onto the scene with the lowest growls possible! A couple of guitarist that really know how to shread. A drummer that is great at virtually all aspects of drumming except blast beats, but probally one of the fastest double bass pedals of almost anyone in the area. The bassist is good too. The band is composed of a bunch of great musicians that are really looking to go somewhere.

Unkomfortable Silence

Strong bass influence in Heavy Rock, I haven’t heard Heavy Rock band in along time with as much bass influence as this band has, they are amazing for their genre. The vocals are ok, it sounds like they used vocal distortion on the recordings. But the music is very melodic and catchy! I guess this would be a personal decision, check them out if you like them leave comments, they are a great band I just don’t know about the vocals, and maybe it was the microphone. Who knows, just check the out.

Conquering Eddy

When I first heard this band I thought of sublime, with the very influential bass lines, but they are very much ROCK they show many skills! The are a 3-peice rock band, with so few members you got to know what your doing! They definitely do. This band is not metal-core but they are a very good band!

Echoes Hill

They are a Hard Rock band located just south of charlotte in the matthews/weddington area. A rock band that is new to the area, very rock with no distortion. A good band that will be hitting the local venues very soon with some very big bands.

Relapse Of Yesterday

ROY is a progressive rock band from Charlotte, North Carolina that formed in late 2004, and has been evolving ever since. After nearly a year of line-up changes ROY is hitting Charlotte hard with brand new members and a much more mature sound. With influences pulled from every aspect of modern rock, from indie to the mainstream and everything in between, ROY aims to incorporate all they love into their music with an emphasis on hardcore leads and melodic vocals. Fueled with a passion for great live music and a captivating live show ROY is dedicated to doing what they love. The best way to find out is to catch a live show and see for yourself.

This is a radio rock band; ROY is a band you should really catch in concert! I haven’t seen them in concert but from what I hear they are INSANE in concert.

Good, Not evil

In the murky depths of Rock Hill, South Carolina, an abomination was created. A Monster, you might say. Some people say pure hatred coursed through its veins. Others say its eyes burned sadness into the soul of whoever gazed into them. It did not breathe normal air, so they say. Instead, revenge was the life that flowed into and from its lungs. Its Creator? A viciously sadistic tyrant who wished to rain misery down upon all opposed. Legend has it, the Monster stood poised to destroy all humanity with a rampage to end all rampages. Nothing could stand in its way. But, its Creator unleashed another Demon upon the world. Terror ensued. The Demon made its way though cities and cultures, infecting homes and destroying minds and bodies. The Creator cried out victoriously over the screams of carnage and pain. But, the Monster gazed upon the growing sadness of humanity. It looked towards its Creator, who had all but cast it aside, and within it, something changed. The Monster sprang forth with tremendous speed, fueled by an entirely new passion. The Monster and the Demon battled briefly, for the Monster soon overwhelmed the Demon. The Demon fell to its knees and hissed a defiant cry before the Monster delivered the final wrenching blow. There, amidst the wreckage and destruction, before its conquered opponent, legend has it that the Monster decided, as it gazed into the eyes of it's Creator, that it would use it's rage, sadness, hatred and revenge for Good, not Evil....

This band is a different type of rock/punk a very local band to me. Everyone in this band has a great attitude and want to secede in the music industry. They are more less what will be on the radio in two years. The guys are getting big quick! I wish they would stay local so I could see them!

Chyme

Chyme is a band of a bunch of great guys, they are all fun to talk to. Very good on the stage, very energetic. The hop around the stage and really get into there own music. I love bands that really get in to it just like there audience. Seeing them live only one I can tell you Billy (singer) loves to be on the ground with the audience. Their drummer is one of the funniest guys I have ever met! He is great at drums too! Their guitarists do one of kind sounds. They know how to mix just the perfect sounds, a mix of melody and with a heavy sound, just a band that needs to be listened too. This is a band everyone should check out! They always are up for playing shows, so if you’re interested in playing with them just email them on their myspace.

The Solanum Morgue

The Solanum Morgue is a very interesting band, a very VERY heavy band, but with some very melodic parts in there songs. Straight out of the heart of North Carolina, the home of metal-core, you can see these guys at ground zero on a regular basis. The vocals are probably close to the best I have ever heard, I listen to lots of bands and when you see these guys in concert it will make you mosh/dance. The guitarist is great using lots of pinch harmonics, and very heavy distortion, he is INSANE. The drums are very original, very fast double bass. Their bassist is great too, always using a very heavy influential sound to the band. If you want to see a great band play you must go see these guys, they are amazing.
